Our Vision

The Region 20 Education Association seeks to build, grow, and maintain a community of certified educators who are knowledgeable about their rights and responsibilities as public school employees; committed to the objectives of the R20EA, CEA, and NEA; understanding of their colleagues within the bargaining unit; and dedicated to serving students and families on the local, regional, state, and national level.

Our Goals

The Region 20 Education Association will:

  • Collectively bargain in good faith with the Region 20 Board of Education.

  • Provide representation to members when necessary or requested.

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with members, administrators, and the R20BOE.

  • Inform members of professional development opportunities from CEA and NEA.

  • Inform members of local, state, and national legislation that affects certified educators.

  • Provide to members, in a timely manner: meeting dates, agendas, minutes, and other pertinent information.

  • Provide opportunities to socialize and serve together.

  • Support and celebrate district graduates through scholarships.
